In order to be able to choose the right tweezers for us, we first have to learn the basic features of a tweezer.
Tweezers are an important tool for a Lashmaker. The comfort, speed and result of the lashmaker's work depend on the quality of the tweezers. Their choice depends on the technician's extension and personal preference.

The tweezers are used to:
        1. Separate and hold the natural lashes.
        2. Grab a synthetic eyelash.
        3. Create a fan.
        4. Glue the eyelash or the fan.
The tweezers differ in shape and material from which they are made.

Material
- Stainless steel. Stainless steel tweezers retain their shape and sharpening during sterilization.
- Japanese steel. Tools from Japanese steel are lighter. Non-corrosive and resistant to sterilization.
- Surgical A-grade stainless steel. The most durable and lightweight material to make tweezers. VLV Lashes tweezers are made of this material.

Coating
- Colored enamel. Serious brands only allow special paint, which provides anti-static and anti-magnetic effects. If the tweezers are cheap, then the coating is of poor quality and cracks will be created by the time and the sterilizer.
- Rainbow. It does not affect the weight of the tweezer. It is not affected by disinfection.
- Satin finish - a type of metal treatment. Practical choice. Matte finish lasts for life and does not affect weight.
- Mirroring - the type of metal polishing is similar to the finishing properties. If the material is of poor quality, the phenomenon of magnetization occurs.

The lighter the tweezer is, the faster the extension process is and the fingers are not getting tired so quickly. Each company manufactures tweezers of different materials, so it is impossible to find the optimal weight with the eye. A heavier tweezer will not necessarily be more resilient.
One way to check comfort and convenience: Make 15-20 consecutive closings in a row. If the hand is not tired - closing is easy. The construction of the tweezer affects fatigue. Easy movement is a sign of quality. In cheap models the edges are attached by 1-2mm. For comfortable work you need at least 4mm.
There are techniques for creating a fan at the end of the tweezers and in the middle. A good tip, the tweezer's ends should be closed all the way along. With a tweezers of this kind, it's easier to work with any technique.
Experts recommend using a straight tweezer to separate natural eyelashes.
Some lashmakers separate the straight tweezers into those with a shoulder or two shoulders. Objectively, this only affects the ease of holding the tweezer and the individual preferences of a technician - depending on how they were taught and with which they are comfortable with.

With one shoulder - if a Lashmaker holds the tweezer parallel to the customer's face, the eyelid is visible from above.

With two shoulders - according to the revisions is ideal for left handlers. The tweezers provide good image at any position of the hands.

All tweezers can be used for all techniques, depending on the lashmaker's preference. We will suggest our own choices for our tweezers.

How to take care of your tweezers:
Any type of tweezers for extension should be cleaned and stored properly. After completion of each process, it is recommended to:
        1. Clean the gripper from glue residues with any organic solvent, you can use your Remover.
        2. Disinfect your tweezers in special liquid. Detention time is indicated by the manufacturer.
        3. Rinse the tools with clean water and dry with a lint-free cloth.
        4. Make sterilization at least once a week. If there was contact with blood, pus, rash - sterilize immediately after this client.

How to properly store your tweezers:
In order not to lose their sharpening and not deform, they must be stored properly. Experienced Lashmaker suggest several options:
-Simple case. Good dust protection. The downside is that their sizes are not suited for different tool brands.
-Stan-Base. All tweezers are in the spotlight. The main disadvantage is that they are exposed to dust.
-Magnetic case. The tweezers are firmly secured and protected from dust. The safest option.
